Carrum Primary School’s amazing Junior School Council and our Senior Students in Grade 5/6, coordinate several annual events.
Every student & teacher at Carrum PS is invited to ‘Twin-Up’ on Twins Day.
Twins Day Preparation:
1. Find one friend
2. Agree to wear something that matches (clothes, head band, hat, scarf, badge, etc.)
3. Proudly show off your brilliant twin-ness on ‘Twins Day’ . Twins Day raises funds for building works around our school grounds.
World Giraffe Day
Carrum Primary School celebrated World Giraffe Day on 21 June 2016. Our students interviewed the founders of World Giraffe Day, Dr Julian Fennessy & Steph Fennessy, via Skype from Namibia, Africa, and raised funds to adopt a young Giraffe named Muffin!
Our School Disco features two groovin’ sessions on one hot night for the Junior’s (Prep-2) and Senior’s (Grades 3-6). Always great fun!
Every student & teacher at Carrum PS is invited to wear something fabulously green on Green Day: t-shirts, jeans, jumpers, head bands, etc. Anything Green! Green Day raises money for the Thin Green Line Foundation – a fantastic organisation that provides vital support to Park Rangers and their communities living on the front-line of conservation in developing nations.
